Elite

Effortless Interior Stowage Solution

The Elite is true "Mobility Magic" with its wireless key chain remote, generous bumper clearance and unobstructed rear view. This sturdy, reliable interior lifts telescoping design ensures years of freedom. The Elite's universal platform can handle most power chairs or scooters up to 300lbs and its adjustable tie-down straps safely secures them. The Elite is 30" total in height allowing for an unobstructed rear view. The Elite may be eligible for reimbursement of up to $1000 from GM, Ford, Daimler/Chrylser, Toyota and Volkswagen, under the terms of their mobility programs.

An Economical Interior Mounted Lift

This simple, manual-swing version of our premier Excel lift provides excellent value, and, because it is from VMI, you know it is top-quality. Metal roller bearings (instead of plastic bushings) provide smooth "in/out" motion for years of reliable use. Easy access push-button controls and adjustable locking "stops" provide easy, safe operation.

The Excel E-Series is based on our premier Excel lift. It offers an economical interior mounted lift with all the quality you expect from VMI with a durable 350lb. Lifting capacity.

Excel 200

A Versitile Curb-Side Loading Lift

The Excel 200 earns its name with a lifting capacity of 200lbs and can accommodate a wide range of scooters and lightweight power chairs.  This versatile lifts offers you the benefit of both rear and curbside loading, a feature not available on other lifts in it's class.  The dual positioning base makes it possible for installation on either the passenger or the drivers side of your rear cargo area.  The Excel 200 lifts your power chair or scooter automatically and has a simple manual in and out rotation into your SUV or minivan.  With five adjustments, done by your Authorized VMI Dealer, the Excel 200 fits in most SUV's, minivans, station wagons, and even the PT Cruiser.

Excel Weatherized

Designed To Withstand The Great Outdoors

The Excel Weatherized has been designed with protection from the elements, making it ideal for truck bed installation. It is UV resistant, has been powder coated and includes rugged covers on all electronics and moving components. The entire lift is sealed and shielded, so you never need to be concerned about exposure. Other features include a 350lb. lifting capacity, wireless keychain remote or detachable pendant for convenient, effortless operation and its versatility by accommodating a wide range of vehicles.

Full-Featured Exterior Mounted Scooter Lift

This tried and true lift solution offers all the convenience and quality of our Excel for those who prefer an exterior mounted scooter lift. The Outback offers the versatility of a 3 or 4-wheel scooter arrangement. Automatic dual hold-down arms and a "stabilizing pin" reduce rattles and sway to provide worry-free driving.

Outback ST

The Future of Exterior Power Chair Lifts

This innovative addition to the VMI family is sure to please you.  The Outback ST's self-tensioning tie-down system, automatic stowing mechanism, and 300lbs. lifting capacity make transporting your power chair a breeze.  Operation is easy with its large magnetic switches.  VMI utilizes two stabilizing pins to prevent rattle and sway when driving. There is no other self-tensioning tie-down system that is so reliable and so secure.

The Outback ST's self-tensioning (ST) tie-down system incorporates a padded strap with an easy to use seatbelt buckle to safely hold your power chair in place.
